My Three Goals For 2019



I'm all for New Years Resolutions but every year I'll sit and list about 10 resolutions and I've realised, it's super hard to try and achieve all 10 within the first half of the year! I've also tried to make them more specific and realistic, it's always great to say 'I want to be thinner' but it's hard to detail how you're going to achieve that.


In this blog post I've listed my three goals for 2019 and I'm super excited to get started on them!


1. Workout 4 times a week

2018 was a year I really got into my fitness, I started going to F45 4 times a week when it was peak summer in Australia but with getting a puppy and life being busy, I found it much harder to get to the gym. This year I want to workout 4 times a week, whether that be a 5K run near where I live or 45 mins at F45 or go for a swim, I want to mix up my exercise, not only for my physical fitness but also to calm my mind :)


2. Learn to cook a new dish every 2 weeks

With working out more last year I also learnt the importance of nutrition and how much of what I put into my body has a direct impact on how I'm feeling mentally and how my body reacts physically. Whilst I know I need to ditch the Maccy Ds, I also want to learn how to cook a new meal every fortnight. I think it would be a push to cook every week as our plans constantly change. Last year I cooked a number of meals for my fiancé and I, not sure whether they were 5/5 but for sure edible :)


3. Take some time out for myself

This is probably by far going to be the hardest resolution for me, my fiancé would agree I'm a workaholic, whether that's working on my blog or creating something new, I'm always looking to be more creative and push myself. With this in mind I rarely ever relax as such, I'm not a huge TV fan unless it's YouTube videos - my fave! So this year I want to take some time out for myself at the weekend to just sleep, read books and walks with my fiancé and the dog.
